Connect Swoop to Claude

Connect a Swoop workspace to Claude to set up monitoring, review your market, inspect conversations, prepare replies in your brand's voice, and organize your inbox.

Connect your workspace

Your Swoop account must be verified and the workspace must have eligible access. You can complete market setup from Claude after connecting.

1. In Claude, open Customize → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
2. Name it Swoop and enter this server URL:

https://getswoop.ai/api/plugin/mcp

3. Leave the advanced OAuth client ID and secret fields blank. Swoop provides the connection settings automatically.
4. Choose Add, then Connect. Sign in or create and verify a Swoop account, select your workspace, and approve access.
5. In a Claude chat, enable Swoop under + → Connectors.

For a Claude Team or Enterprise account, an organization owner may need to add the connector under organization settings first. Each member then signs in to their own Swoop account.

What Claude can access

You authorize one workspace. Claude can read its business and writing context, monitored public posts, cached replies, recommendations, drafts, and inbox status. If market setup is unfinished, Claude can ask what you want to monitor, build the profile, and start Swoop's first scan. It can save drafts and change statuses when you request it. These changes appear in the shared workspace inbox.

Briefing and search tools work with posts Swoop has already collected. The setup tool can start Swoop's bounded first-scan workflow using your existing allowance; it does not provide arbitrary live search. The connector does not publish replies, send messages, access private DMs, or purchase anything. You review and publish replies yourself. Your existing Swoop monitoring and plan limits apply.

Disconnect or troubleshoot

In Swoop, open Organization settings → AI agents to disconnect your agent connections for the current workspace. This revokes your connector access for that workspace without deleting saved drafts. You can also remove Swoop from Claude's connector settings.

If connection fails, confirm your account is verified and the workspace has eligible access, then start Connect again. Market setup itself can be completed in Claude. If an authorization request expires, restart it from Claude. If Swoop reports that a conversation changed, ask Claude to read it again before saving an edit.

Swoop records connection milestones and write-tool names, outcomes, and timestamps. Activity records do not contain your prompts or draft text; workspace edits are recorded in the audit log.
